Need Help Enrolling in Medicare?
What to Do Now and How Medicare BackOffice® Can Help
Your initial enrollment period is a seven-month period when you can sign up for Medicare, and it starts three months before the month you turn 65. If you’re not already enrolled in Medicare, you should apply for Part A (hospital insurance), even if you’re covered by other health insurance.
It’s also time to decide whether to enroll in Part B (medical insurance) and Part D (prescription drug coverage.) Please note: if you don’t enroll in Part B and Part D when first eligible, you could pay late-enrollment penalties and delay coverage. If you haven’t already signed up for a Medicare Supplement health insurance plan to pay for what Medicare doesn’t cover, you also may want to decide between a Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage (Part C) plan. Medicare BackOffice’s checklist provides details on how to apply and what else to do now.
Medicare BackOffice’s Licensed Insurance Agents want to make your enrollment as simple as possible. They won’t push you to a certain plan or carrier — they will explain your choices and help you find a plan that fits your needs and your budget.
