American Benefits Consulting (ABC) was founded in 1979. We started by providing executive benefits consulting and plan administration services to Fortune 500 companies. In our early years, we focused primarily on non-qualified executive benefits and compensation consulting to select clients, as well as joint product development initiatives with some of the world’s largest insurance carriers. From our inception, we’ve invested in innovative, cutting-edge technology solutions to facilitate and automate the administration of sophisticated plan designs.
Expanded offerings
To meet the needs of our growing customer base, we expanded into group insurance. We leveraged our deep actuarial expertise, along with our roots in technology innovation, to provide industry-leading solutions in group insurance, voluntary benefits, and international benefits.
Progressive partnership
In January 2015, ABC was acquired by Alliant Insurance Services, the nation’s largest specialty insurance brokerage firm. This partnership with Alliant enhances ABC’s continued commitment to excellence in designing and negotiating customized employee benefits programs to help clients remain competitive.
